Can i change allegiance in swtor

Clicking it gets you some stuff, and me some stuff too. Too techincally complicated to pull off. So forget about it. Slift As an Eventual expansion option? The problem is Story line. You can't just Dump a SW over to JK mid chapter. They have no reason to do anything story-wise from there. Maybe if the faction change were available only at certain levels or points in the story, with the change being Story itself, detailing why exactly your character should care about their mirror class' storyline.

I guarantee you that if this feature were ever implemented there would be a LOT of people who change sides and then decide that they did not want to after all, or worse they change sides not meaning to.

I think the best we can hope for is one or more truly neutral galactic races and a couple of new classes solely for those races where during the prologue you are given a choice as to which side to join and after that you are stuck with that choice.

Do you hit some cutoff in the story where all old quests are considered completed and you can never go back and do them? What about other players you know on a particular faction side?
